Alison Doody

Alison Doody has been an Irish model and actor since November 11, 1996. Her feature film debut was a tiny role on her debut role in the Bond film A View to a Kill. (1985). Then, later she was portrayed as a Nazi-sympathising Archaeologist Elsa Schneider (Indiana Jones and in the Last Crusade 1989). Siobhan donavan was in A Prayer for the Dying in 1987. Charlotte played Taffin (in 1988) and Rebecca Flannery played Major League II. Doody began modelling after being offered by an experienced photographer. It led to a successful professional career as a model for commercials. Doody tried to stay clear of the glamour of nude roles which was a principle she incorporated into her acting. In 1985, after being noticed by the casting directors of the James Bond new film, Doody acted in a tiny part in Jenny Flex as in A View to a Kill. Doody was named one of 12 Promising New Actors from 1986 in John Willis Screen World, Vol. 38. Doody was only aged 18 when she made her first appearance in the Bond role. As of today Doody is considered to be the youngest Bond girl. In 1987, Mickey Rourke starred in A Prayer for the Dying where she played IRA member Siobhan Doovan. Doody played an unseen role as Archibald Craven's spouse Lilias during his dream, 1987's adaptation from The Secret Garden. The storyteller's episode Sapsorrow was her debut leading part. It aired in 1988 opposite Dawn French, John Hurt along with Jennifer Saunders. She starred alongside Pierce Brosnan in the film Taffin (1988) before she took perhaps her most well-known role ever in the role of Austrian Archaeologist and Nazi-sympathiser Dr. Elsa Schneider in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade playing opposite Harrison Ford. Doody is a member of the James Bond family, having acted along with Sean Connery and Jonathan Pryce in the film Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade. Doody was a co-star in the year 1991 alongside Jonathan Pryce opposite the British mini-series Selling Hitler, which was an inspiration for the book fraud named the Hitler Diaries. She later moved to Hollywood. She replaced Cybill Shepherd as the L'Oreal spokesperson's character. Doody then appeared as Flannery Sheen's girlfriend and his agent, opposite Charlie Sheen, as Major League II came out in 1994. After nearly a decade from the screen Doody was back in the acting world by playing a minor role in the 2003 British comedy film The Actors with Michael Caine acting as herself in an event scene for the award ceremony. in 2004, Doody appeared alongside Patrick Swayze alongside a TV adaptation to King Solomon's Mines. Also, she appeared as a character in Benjamin's Struggle (2005), which was a pamphlet that described the Holocaust. Doody had a minor role in Danny Dyer's movie The Rapture (2010). The Clinic, a medical drama on RTE. The Asphyx was her 2011 remake. In 2011 she began the first of two seasons on E4 comedy show Beaver Falls playing Pam Jefferson. The show featured her in We Still Kill the Old Way which was a film from 2014. Almeria film award, tierra de cine, and an Almeria Walk of Fame star were presented on November 21st, 2018.
